Soil Moist

When creating container gardens or hanging baskets, it’s a good idea to mix some Soil Moist into your soil to reduce the number of times you need to water.

Plants growing in containers typically dry out faster than plants in the ground because they have a limited growing environment.

Soil Moist is a polymer designed to absorb water like a sponge. When the soil dries, the stored water is released to the soil over an extended period of time. Additionally, the expansion and retraction of the polymer during the watering cycle helps with soil aeration.

When planting, sprinkle Soil Moist evenly throughout the root zone. Do not place in the top 2” of soil. After planting, water liberally to allow the polymer to absorb the maximum amount of water. Please read the package label for quantities and other instructions.

Soil Moist also is recommended for sun-drenched gardens that tend to dry out quickly or if you travel frequently.

Soil Moist Plus offers the same benefits as Soil Moist with the added convenience of a slow-release fertilizer that lasts up to nine months. Soil Moist Mycorrhizal is a combination of moisture-absorbing polymers, slow-release fertilizer and beneficial fungi to enhance root growth.
