Merrifield Garden Center is proud to support Beautiful Gardens®, a plant introduction program to find, evaluate, propagate and grow ornamental plants for the retail and commercial markets.

Each plant is reviewed for hardiness, disease and insect resistance and, of course, beauty.

Grown locally in Virginia, these plants are designed to provide customers with increased planting success and create expanded opportunities for Virginia growers.

The Plants of Distinction segment of this program brings attention to underutilized plants already in the marketplace that have earned increased consideration in the landscape.
