Merrifield Landscape Designer

Grounded in the belief that an outdoor space should suit one’s lifestyle, Mary Kirk enjoys creating spaces that bring people together and help them connect to nature. She’s been crafting natural spaces to explore, play and eat in since she was a child.

After obtaining an economics degree from the University of Virginia and taking a detour into the corporate world, Mary Kirk decided to turn her passion into her day job. She joined the Merrifield trees and shrubs team while studying landscape design at George Washington University. Today she helps clients create spaces reflective of their personal style as a designer on our landscaping team.

When she’s not designing, Mary Kirk is usually chasing her two little kids around, attempting to outdo her husband in the kitchen, practicing yoga or hiking one of the area’s beautiful trails.
