Merrifield Landscape Lighting Designer

An avid guitarist and certified electrician, JR works closely with our landscape design team to add dimension to our clients’ landscapes through landscape lighting. Following in his father’s footsteps, JR joined the Merrifield team part time in high school. After graduating and owning his own business, he joined the team full time eight years ago and met the love of his life, his wife Jen.

JR will tell you his two favorite things about working at Merrifield are getting to see his wife every day, and seeing our clients spaces come to life with the dramatic impact of landscape lighting. When he’s not crafting a lighting plan to increase safety, create ambiance or highlight a landscape feature, JR supports our landscape team installing outdoor kitchens, fire pits, fireplaces and fountains.
