A master of efficiency, an edible gardening enthusiast, and a kayaking hobbyist, we’re lucky Kris decided to join the Merrifield team after being mistaken for an employee multiple times when she was, in fact, just a very friendly and knowledgeable customer. Today you can find Kris running our annuals section at our Gainesville location where she specializes in vegetables and container gardening.

Kris was introduced to her passion by her grandmother, who kept a garden to feed her family of seven. Her green thumb passed to Kris who spends her free time tending to over 30 different varieties of tomatoes she grows in her home garden.
