Growing up on a farm in Georgia immersed Peg into the world of agriculture and horticulture at a young age. Peg has turned this upbringing into a true love of gardening, pouring her energy into creating a personal garden that her family can gather in and enjoy. This garden has evolved over time, maturing with her children and grandchildren and growing with the surrounding landscape. It’s been featured in publications and is a frequent stop for garden tours throughout the Northern Virginia area.

A Merrifield team member of 41 years, you may know Peg from her co-hosting days on our weekly TV show, Merrifield’s Gardening Advisor. Today she spends her time helping customers design custom containers in our annuals section at the Fair Oaks location and as a Merrifield blogger and teacher.
