Our Return Policy

Items returned with a receipt will be given credit back to the original method of payment, as long as the products are in the same condition as originally purchased. If the original method of payment was credit card, then the return must be credited back to the same original credit card used. If the original purchase was by check, there will be a 10 business day grace period for check processing.

Items returned without a receipt will be given a credit back in the amount of the current price of the items in the form of a merchandise credit.

Our Replacement Policy

The plants that you purchased are high quality, healthy and well cared for. Should a tree or shrub that is planted in the ground and watered according to our written instructions fail to survive due to its original health, we will gladly give a store credit as follows:

  • 100% of the purchase price of the plant (and any applicable planting labor fees) during the first six months from the date of purchase.
  • 50% of the purchase price of the plant (and any applicable planting labor fees) during the second six months from the date of purchase.

You can apply your store credit toward plants, materials or labor. There are no cash refunds. Naturally, this policy cannot cover damage or death beyond our control, such as improper planting (usually too deep), over or under watering, physical damage, insect, wildlife or disease damage, winter kill, or extreme natural conditions, such as droughts. You must return the dead plant(s) (for diagnosis) and the sales receipt before we can issue any credits.

Please note: Sale plants, roses, houseplants, annuals, perennials and plants that are grown in locations other than “in ground,” such as plants that are in containers, are not covered by our replacement policy.

Plants covered by this replacement policy will only be replaced one time.

Our Guide to

Watering Your New Landscape

All plants need water to support their growth. If they do not have enough water, growth stops as they try to conserve resources. If dry conditions persist, this will lead to injury or death. Plants also need oxygen for cellular respiration. When the soil remains soaking wet, this prevents oxygen from reaching the roots and causes plants to die. Our goal is to never allow plants to become completely dry while also avoiding constantly wet conditions.

The watering needs of each plant can vary based on the species, size, growing practices, soil type, temperature, sun exposure and a myriad of other changing conditions. Because of this, it’s impossible to provide an exact schedule of how much or how often you’ll need to water.
