Marble chips gravel is a particularly attractive and durable material to use in walkways, flower beds, at the base of fountains or near a driveway. It resembles blue stone, but is a gorgeous white to gray color that will make any landscape look modern and elegant. It is heavy and will not budge once it is placed, making it great for areas that experience high winds and heavy rainstorms. Marble chips do not have to be replaced year after year. They work well as a groundcover placed in bed borders or along pathways and as a decorative alternative to wood-based mulch. They are reflective of sunlight and heat, allowing your surface to remain cool throughout the summer months.
We carry ⅜, ¾ and 2” sizes in 0.5 cubic foot bags with 60 bags on a pallet. If you’re ordering a full pallet of material, we will bring a forklift to unload the product onto your driveway.
We can deliver bags of marble chips gravel to your location. In addition to delivery, we can also provide installation services. If you’re interested in having our team install your marble chips gravel, please book a landscape appointment and select Draining & Grading Issues as the appointment type. If you are interested in having our landscape design team build out a patio, walkway, driveway or other hard surface, please book a Full Service landscape design appointment.
When installing marble chips gravel and other decorative stone products:
Rinse the stone with water to remove any dust or dirt debris.
How do I know how much gravel to use?
In general we recommend installing decorative stone at a depth of 2 to 3”. If you need to fill in up to the level where you’ll place your decorative gravel, you can use any kind of inexpensive base gravel that you have on hand, such as 57 gravel or blue stone gravel. Use our coverage calculator to determine how much material you’ll need for any given space in the garden based on the square footage of the area.
