Mexican beach pebbles are hand-picked, smooth stones with a natural gray color that range in size from 1 to 3”. They come straight from the ocean and beaches of Mexico and are very modern in the garden. You can use them indoor and outdoor and they’re particularly nice as an accent in walkways and at the base of fountains, for instance, and many other applications where you want to add some visual flare. They work well as a groundcover placed in bed borders or along pathways and as a decorative alternative to wood-based mulch.
Mexican beach pebbles vary in size between 1 and 3” long. We stock them in half cubic feet bags with 60 bags on a pallet. If you’re ordering a full pallet of material we will bring a forklift to unload the product onto your driveway.
We can deliver the bags of Mexican beach pebbles to your location. In addition to delivery, we can also provide installation services. If you’re interested in having our team install your Mexican beach pebbles, please book a landscape appointment and select Draining & Grading Issues as the appointment type. If you are interested in having our landscape design team build out a patio, walkway, driveway or other hard surface, please book a Full Service landscape design appointment.
When installing Mexican beach pebbles and other decorative stone products:
Rinse the stone with water to remove any dust or dirt debris.
How do I know how much stone to use?
In general, we recommend installing decorative stones, such as Mexican beach pebbles, 2 to 3” deep. If you need to fill in up to the level where you’ll place your decorative gravel you can use any kind of inexpensive base gravel that you have on hand, such as 57 gravel or blue stone gravel. Use our coverage calculator to determine how much material you’ll need for any given space in the garden based on the square footage of the area.
What are Mexican Beach Pebbles?
Mexican beach pebbles are smooth, naturally rounded stones collected from beaches in Mexico. Their color, shape, and polished finish are created by years of ocean tumbling.
Do Mexican Beach Pebbles fade?
No, the stones are naturally colored. They may look lighter when dry or dusty, but rinsing restores the darker tone.
