Builder’s sand is naturally found in riverbeds, lakes, ocean floors and beaches. It is versatile and helpful for a plethora of different uses in landscape and in hardscape projects. It is also known as all purpose sand, coarse sand and construction sand. You can lay it down before pavers, thermal flagstone, brick or cobblestones to use it as a leveling agent. It can be used to improve drainage in soil, create cement or asphalt mixes, help with brickwork and paving, lay underneath patios, help with foundations for pathways and masonry, and many other applications.

We stock builder’s sand in bulk by cubic yards.

We can deliver a maximum of 4 cubic yards on one truck over to your location. One yard of builder’s sand is equivalent to 2,500 pounds. The maximum amount of weight we can fit on one truck is 12,500 lbs. If you need more than 4 cubic yards of builder’s sand, it will require more trucks and additional delivery fees.

In addition to delivery, we can also provide installation services. If you’re interested in having our team install your builder’s sand, please book a landscape appointment and select Draining & Grading Issues as the appointment type. If you are interested in having our landscape design team build out a patio, walkway, driveway or other hard surface, please book a Full Service landscape design appointment.
