How to calculate the square footage of an area

Maryland river natural gravel consists of stones of the same shape but different sizes. It is wonderful as an ornamental stone, looking great in walkways, garden borders, water features, flower beds, ponds, under decks and along flagstone paths. It is durable and long lasting and won’t need to be replaced year after year. Maryland river natural gravel has a natural, earth toned color palette and can add a rustic feel to your landscape projects. This product is also commonly known as white and tan natural gravel due to its coloring. It works well as a groundcover placed in bed borders or along pathways and as a decorative alternative to wood-based mulch.

Maryland river natural gravel comes in three different stone sizes: ½”, ¾”, and 2 to 4” (which includes sizes of 1” to 3” in the bag). These sizes come in half cubic foot bags with 56 bags per pallet. If you’re ordering a full pallet of material we will bring a forklift to unload the product onto your driveway.

In addition to delivery, we can also provide installation services. If you’re interested in having our team install your Maryland river natural gravel, please book a landscape appointment and select Draining & Grading Issues as the appointment type. If you are interested in having our landscape design team build out a patio, walkway, driveway or other hard surface, please book a Full Service landscape design appointment.

What is Maryland river natural gravel?

Maryland river natural gravel is a natural decorative stone blend featuring light tan, cream and white tones. It’s often made from crushed quartz, sandstone, limestone, or a mix of naturally colored stones.

Does Maryland river natural gravel fade?

No, Maryland river stones will not fade as the stones are natural materials and not dyed. They may appear lighter or darker depending on whether they are wet, dusty, or clean. To keep it clean, blow away any debris, rake it and rinse it to remove dirt and dust.

Does this gravel get hot in the sun?

No, it stays cooler than dark gravel as the light color reflects sunlight, making it ideal for sunny areas and near walkways.
