Pollinator Buffet Container Design

This container is packed full of long-lasting blooms that will provide food for the bees and butterflies all summer. These vibrant plants perform best in full sun. Place this container in an area that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. Remember that your container may need daily watering in the summer heat!

1. Heliopsis ‘Burning Hearts’

Can be replaced with any similar-sized heliopsis (common name False Sunflower)

2. Hemerocallis ‘Lavender Blue Baby’

Can be replaced with any similar-sized daylily.

3. Betony ‘Summer Romance’

Consider replacing with nepeta, another member of the mint family.

4. Coreopsis ‘Li’l Bang Enchanted Eve’

Can be replaced with any other coreopsis.

5. Coreopsis ‘Cruizin Electric Ave’

Can be replaced with any other coreopsis.

6. Lantana ‘Samantha’

Can be replaced with any other lantana, or another trailing plant such as coleus, petunia or coral bells.
